Escape Screening
Move together. Connect deeply. Give back. đź–¤
We often discover the most about ourselves through the people we move through life with. That’s why we’re gathering for an intimate screening of ESCAPE—an award-winning film that is less about the sport of running, and more about the human connections that cross borders, cultures, and lived experiences.
Set against the backdrop of South Africa, ESCAPE reminds us how a shared challenge can break down walls and build genuine community.
This evening is designed to be more than just a screening; it’s an intentional space for us to gather, share stories, and spark meaningful conversation.
Here is how we’re coming together:
The Film: An intimate viewing of ESCAPE.
The Conversation: A post-screening Q&A with Directors Justin Manabat and Larissa Parekh, alongside Quinton Jacobs, diving into global running culture and the relationships that inspired the project.
The Impact: Attendance is by donation, with 100% of the proceeds directly supporting the incredible, ongoing work of the Ubuntu Collective.
The Perks: Food, beverages, limited edition ESCAPE merch, and product giveaways from our friends at On.
✨ Keep the connection going:
The impact doesn't stop when the lights come up. Join the Escape Team the following morning for an optional community long run (plus an opportunity to test out some On shoes!).
🎟 Spaces are limited. Click the link in our bio to RSVP, donate what you can, and help us show up big for the Ubuntu Collective. Let’s move together.
