Xact Energy Chews (Mini)
Bite-sized energy you can dose piece by piece. Fuel that fits your effort, not the other way around.
Why melting texture matters.
Most energy chews on the market use gelatin or starch-based binders to hold their shape. These require significant saliva breakdown and chewing effort which is fine if you're standing still, problematic if you're breathing hard at threshold.
XACT Chews are made from a fruit base that breaks down rapidly with saliva, requiring minimal chewing. Yes, they are called the chews....but honestly maybe we should call them the "melts"??
How to Use:
Dosing by effort:
- Quick boost: 3–4 pieces (15–20g carbs) before or during shorter efforts
- Sustained energy: 6 pieces every 30–45 minutes (30g carbs/hour) for moderate-intensity training
- High-intensity or longer efforts: 8–12 pieces per hour, or combine with other XACT products (gels, bars) to hit 60–90g carbs/hour
Timing:
- Pre-workout: A few pieces 15–30 minutes before to prime your system with quick carbs
- Intra-workout: Grab your target amount every 30–45 minutes to maintain steady energy
- Post-workout: While not a recovery product, they can bridge the gap to a full meal
No-fuss fueling:
- Just grab a few pieces directly from the bag—no unwrapping mid-effort
- Melts in your mouth with minimal chewing, so you can keep moving and breathing
- Works in all temperatures: won't freeze solid in cold, won't melt in heat
Pair with:
- XACT Electrolytes for hydration and electrolyte replenishment (especially in heat or on long efforts)
- XACT Endurance Bars for hunger control during long, steady efforts
- XACT Fruit Gels for maximum carb density during high-intensity sessions
Shareable fuel: Toss the resealable bag in your group ride kit, drop bag, or aid station supply. Athletes can grab what they need, when they need it—building community fueling.
